I&M Machine and Fabrication Corp is looking for an experienced Manual Machinist.

Candidate should be detail oriented, responsible for precision machine work, reading blueprints, perform set-ups, operational functions of manual and machine tools to cut, grind, and polish materials .

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ability to read process sheets and blueprints of job to determine machining operations, dimensional specifications, set up, and first part verification process.
• Efficient use of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gage, etc.)
• Inspects pieces and spot check succeeding pieces for conformance to specification using operation certification knowledge
• Experience in how to evaluate, diagnoses, troubleshoot systems and perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
• Fundamental knowledge of metal cutting and machining practices
• Any other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
•  Excellent mathematical and computer skills.
• Previous machining experience is a plus but can train if no experience.

Rate of Pay: Starting out at $17.00-$20.00 hrly rate based on experience.
